Take notes without looking at your phone

Lift the phone to your ear to record. Move it away to send — eyes off the screen the whole time.

Learns what you care about

Tell it when a reply misses the mark. It updates its own notes about your goals so the next answers fit you better.

Insightful AI replies draw on your full conversation history, stored on device. Opt in to sync with iCloud.

For the life you're building

Take advantage of AI without getting lost in your phone.

Magic Journal is an AI agent you talk to with voice notes. Open it from the Action Button, the home screen widget, or just raise the phone to your ear while the app is open — it starts recording immediately and sends the moment you move the phone away.

The agent on the other end replies in text and audio, drawing on every past conversation — stored on your iPhone, optionally synced through iCloud. Tell it you want different responses and it adjusts: it can edit its own instructions to fit your goals and the way you actually want to be helped.

The result is a record you can actually use. The app holds the thread of who you're becoming, so every conversation moves you closer to the life you want.

Reclaim your attention

Built to give you your time back.

Social media platforms use military-grade science to co-opt your attention. They have gone so far as to build fMRI models of how people react to visual stimuli, then tune the feed to manipulate you at a level you can't even feel.

Despite all the power of modern computers, we end up working more and staring at screens longer. Algorithmic feeds are the first fully distributed, misaligned AI — optimizing for their own goals, not yours, at planetary scale.

The best case for personal AI is the opposite. It helps you accomplish what actually matters to you. That's not distraction. That's having passion and purpose.
